Today, I leverage over a decade of experience advising affluent families. Our goal is to help you make the most of what you've earned.
Based in Raleigh, I live with my wife and three kids, Cate, Ben and Jack, and can be seen drinking coffee at almost any time of the day.

Most common planning mistake you've seen clients make?
Not involving family members, particularly a spouse, in the planning process - while busy schedules often lead to dividing and delegating tasks, having both partners participate gives us the context we need to provide the best advice. It also helps future generations learn the “why” behind decisions and creates an opportunity to carry forward family values.

Meet Molly Robertson, Operations Manager
Before joining PieCapital, Molly spent a decade working at BB&T & Truist in both the community banking and wealth divisions.
A native of Lexington, NC, Molly graduated from Appalachian State University with a major in interior design and a minor in art history. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Holly Springs, North Carolina, and when she’s not spending time with family, you can usually find her working on a new crochet project, crafting or reading.
Favorite thing about working in wealth management: “I enjoy learning about the personal lives of clients and just being someone for them to talk to about what’s going on in their lives.”
Our mission is to help you live the life you want to live by turning your balance sheet into peace of mind.
A wealth management partner who has your back.
PieCapital begins and ends with the vision of being deeply relevant to our small client base. Our goal isn't to be the biggest firm, but rather, provide our clients with the personalized service they need to feel confident in their financial future.
We know it's not easy to find a financial advisor you can trust.
The average financial advisor works with 142 other clients. This leaves less than an hour to dedicate to each client every month.
We realized that hard-working families who've spent years building up their businesses or striving in their careers want a more hands-on approach when working with a wealth management advisor. An hour a month simply won't cut it when trying to build a stable future for yourself and your family.
Our firm is small by design, allowing us to help each of our clients feel informed, confident, and at peace about the state of their finances.
Our vision is to help our small client base grow and preserve their wealth with as much care as it took to build it.
We believe each of our clients should have a personalized approach to wealth management, so we've built a firm that is ideally positioned to provide just that.
Serving Raleigh and beyond.
